With regards to DOWNLOADING, according to the FAQ ... "The file isn't complete until the transfer meter has reached 100%."

WHERE in Bitcomet do I find the transfer meter? There is a "Transfer" icon on the top left corner but nothing happens when I click it.

If you click on the "Transfer" button on the BitComet toolbar, followed by selecting "All Tasks" on the left folder menu, the right plane should show a list of Bit Torrent jobs. Some may be active, and some are not. You'll have to double-click on the task to activate it or vice versa. On this right plane, the first column is Name of Bit Torrent task you're downloading/uploading, second column is the file size of the job and the third column is the progress of the job in percentage. This is probably the transfer meter you are refering to.

If there is nothing in the right plane, you have not started any Bit Torrent job.

99.5%? hmm..... copy out that file, rename it to the actual file name (eg. mature.avi or mature.mpg)

you should be able to watch it with some checker boxes

I don't know what are "checker boxes" but copied and renamed the file, effectively removing the extension .bc .... and it plays!

appreciate any advice on Bittorrent. I downloaded and installed the BT (ver 4.2) as mentioned in this thread.

But everytime i start the download, the "connectivity" icon on the top-right corner always turns yellow and says "Slow. Probably firewalled/NATted". download is extremely slow 0 - 1 kbps

I hv Norton Internet Security, and am behind a router. Have set the port forwarding as mentioned in other threads (6881-6999), but still to no avail.

bout putting up more movies, try going to www.gay-torrents.net and ask them to reseed the old movies. this user by the name of 'noom' uploads lots of good movies, maybe u can pm him to help out.
